DELPHIA SULLIVAN, COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST



Delphia grew up in London, England. She attended college in south-east
London where she trained as a Town Planner while on an apprenticeship
with the Greater London Council (GLC). She was with the GLC for ten years
as a Town Planner, specializing in cartography and presentations for
various projects including traffic flows in the city and the expansion of
Heathrow's London airport. She moved to the United States when her
husband, who was in the air force, was transferred back to LasVegas,
Nevada. Once retired from the air force they moved to Florida to be closer
to family.

She went back to work after their daughter started school. Joined a retail company that specialized in aerospace materials. Was approached to join the IT department. Here she learned to build computers and troubleshoot other IT work. She also studied website developmentfrom the ground up, learning to write code for web pages and designed the company's first website.
She came to work for the Presbytery of Tropical Florida, as their Communications Specialist in 2000. She has designed and maintains the Presbytery's website, set up the communications database, puts together the monthly newsletter and takes care of all the computers.public accounting for 2 years. Worked as Controller for
G.Heileman Brewing Company for 15 years. Worked as controller for
several automobile agencies.
I have been married for 44 years. We have 2 sons and 6 grand children.
Was hire by the Presbytery in December 1999.
