Abolish Human Trafficking Presentation at First Tequesta

Sunday, August 19th from 5 – 7 p.m.

Catch the Wave of Hope

A Presentation on Abolishing Human Trafficking

Knowledge is power, even if sometimes the things we need to be knowledgeable about are very unpleasant.

To help us gain more knowledge about the growing epidemic of human trafficking and learn how to protect our children, we have set up a presentation with Catch the Wave of Hope. This organization was created by community leaders from Martin and Palm Beach counties and their goal is to “abolish human trafficking in communities locally, nationally, and globally.”

The date of the presentation is Sunday, August 19th at 5 p.m. We will provide dinner after the presentation.

This is for both middle and high school youth and adults. They make sure to present it in a way that is educational and appropriate for the youth.  If your son/daughter is not able to make it, parents are invited to attend alone to learn more.

There is no a cost for this event, but we will have a love offering basket available to help support the organization and for dinner if you would like to donate.

Please RSVP to Shannon at shannon@tequestapres.org so that we know how many people will be joining us for dinner. You may also contact her for any questions.
